Update on a TOP Legislative Priority
One of the Louisiana Fraternal Order of Police’s legislative priorities in this legislative session was the opposition of HB 702 by Representative Jordan. HB 702 would have eliminated qualified immunity in state courts for Louisiana law enforcement officers. HB 702 was deferred in the Civil Law Committee in the House of Representatives. Day in the Rotunda
The Louisiana Fraternal Order of Police's "Day in the Rotunda" will be May 9th at the Capitol.  This is a day for local lodge members to interact with their legislators.  Also, that day both chambers will recognize our fallen brothers in sisters by Resolution.
