Louisiana's Police Funding Protection Act

While we are disappointed that the Police Funding Protection Act failed we are pleased with the debate that occurred out of it.

Three Senators in committee and during floor debate said that they are supportive of measures to increase the pay for law enforcement. These statements should invigorate a movement to support legislation for a much needed increase in supplemental pay next session.
